Refund policy

Unused merchandise may be returned up to 10 days after purchase. This does not include reeds or processed cane. Contact Aaron Lakota at AaLakota@gmail.com if you would like to return merchandise purchased from ALakotareeds.com. Charges will be reversed once the returned merchandise is received by Aaron Lakota. 

Reeds are guarenteed against defects in materials and workmanship. This includes cracks beyond 6mm past the thread, large chips, leaks over 5mm past the end of the staples, and defective staples. Oboe reeds are not returnable due to personal tastes in tone, intonation, response, resistance or any other subjective quality. Please inspect your order when it arrives and let me know if there are any problems within 7 days of delivery. Defects reported after 7 days will be addressed on a case by case basis and may be replaced or refunded at the discretion of Aaron Lakota. The customer may be requested to send pictures of defective reeds.

PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW if you have any problems with the reeds you receive, even if it is a matter of taste. While I cannot guarantee you will love my reeds, I do try my best to make you happy with the reeds you order. 

Unused Processed cane may be returned within 7 days of arrival. After 7 days, processed cane may be returned only at the discretion of Aaron Lakota.

Tube cane is non-refundable, unless the package  and contents are visually damaged during shipping. 

Any returned produces  must be sent back  to Aaron Lakota within 7 days (post marked) of agreed upon return. Shipping costs on returned items are the responsibility of the customer, unless an item is defective. 

In the case that an item is damaged upon receipt, the original shipping cost will be refunded to cover return shipping. If the original order qualified for free shipping then the customer will be credited the cost of shipping the item back via USPS first class mail.
